Our Team
Our dedicated team plays an integral part in the success of our patients at Durham Nursing and Rehabilitation. The members of our skilled and diverse therapy team have decades of combined experience with specialties in orthopedics, spinal treatment, neurological treatment, wounds, geriatrics, wheelchair positioning, restraint reduction, swallowing, cognitive staging and urinary incontinence. Our staff is compassionate and understanding to our patients' needs and foster a warm and positive atmosphere while utilizing their years of experience and skill to provide treatment.
Michelle Baldwin
Executive Director
Michelle Baldwin has been in healthcare for the past 30 years in a variety of roles. She studied Nursing Home Administration at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. She has been an Executive Director since 2003, and has led the Durham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center team for the past 2 years. Michelle is compassionate and believes that everyone deserves exceptional care as well as great customer service.
Shelly Hibbitt
Admissions/Marketing
Shelly has 10 years of experience in Skilled Nursing, with six of those years being in Admissions and Marketing. Shelly's focus is on caring and making sure residents and their families leave her office with answered questions. Shelly always say " I treat you how I would want to be treated if I was in your shoes and that's with patience, compassion, and kindness."
